It is said that the origins of the scimitar come from Al Kharid, where skilled swordsmen would wield them in a dazzling manner akin to a dance. Travelling dignitaries would be wowed by the spectacle, applauding great choreographed sword clashes that dramatized legendary battles of history’s past.
They were brought to Ashenfall by a noble family during the god wars, who had taken up the scimitar as their weapon of choice, in service, of course, of the mighty Saradomin. This family was proud and pious, which made them all the more concerned when their daughter was one of the first to show signs of Amalgamation.
