Mystic Thread in the journal
There are many steps to making mystic robes - fibres to thread, thread to cloth, cloth to robes - but you would be wise not to skip any of them. Habberdash the Impatient, a magician who lived in Temple Woods, attempted to make his robes solely from thread. He would wrap himself, round and round, with spool after spool of mystic thread, and then attempt battle.
You can imagine how it went. He got snagged on a goblin's helmet and quickly unwound, mid-battle. We're not sure who would have been more shocked: Habberdash, who promptly got stabbed in the gut, or the goblin, who was confronted with a wizard in his undergarments.
