The design is passed down to the garou from templates granted to the first garou blacksmiths by divine revelation. Lougrim taught them about the curve of the blade, and the heft of the hilt. Designed for the hunt, it could fell most quarry in a single blow.
Under Kuldra’s leadership, the chosen quarry was human. The dragon queen had a deep hatred for the humans, she found them weak, petty and flawed. The Thanes carried out her orders, using the axe to wield their authority, in her name.
