In the third age, before someone could wield a staff of light, it would first need to be blessed by three people.
A priest would bless it first, instilling the weapon with Saradomin’s wisdom. A monk would bless it second, imbuing the staff with the humility of Saradomin. Finally, an icyene general would give their blessing, dedicating the weapon to Saradomin’s righteousness.
