Shroud Of Noggin

Poor old Noggin found no peace in death, because even the gods forgot him. When he reached the River Noumenon, there was no guide to usher him through to the Afterlife. No radiant light to beckon him forward into the loving arms of those he'd lost. instead, there was silence and it went on and on.

Always quiet and forgettable, the universe simply failed to recall him. His name was recorded in no books of the dead. The various creatures that prey on lost souls, never once thought he seemed like a pleasant meal. Instead they did nothing, except to leave him to his wandering, forgotten and alone.
