Dragonfire Shield

Fuzan was the youngest of Kuldra’s offspring, yet one of her most violent. As a child he was overcome with a curiosity infused with childlike cruelty. When Kuldra gifted him with the flames, stolen from the Dragonkin’s Harmonic Resonator, it did nothing to temper that childlike need to discover and destroy.

The fires within him were a delight to wield and he grew more and more focused on their flickering flames, one day glancing through them to worlds of cinders that lay beyond. In the embers he heard a whisper, and as he listened it turned into a promise and a proclamation. A voice of true divinity, far surpassing the power of his mother’s dimmed spark.
