Desert Net in the journal
Desert waters throws up some interesting challenges for a net. There are fish that like to nestle into the sand, both below the surface and where a net would not usually reach. To counter this problem, a desert net is weighted on one side but not the other. The weighted side trawls the sandy floor, while the unweighted side catches the fish that attempt to get away. It does lead to some unwanted catches - be prepared to find a wealth of bones in the Umbral Sands - but that's testament to how effective it is.
