You may wonder where the 'cursed' moniker comes from. There is no need to worry: you're not cursed by wearing it, and you're not going to be visited by the three dragons of past, present and future in the night for making it. It has a wildly different etymology.
The 'cursed' is a tannery thing, you see. Cursed leather is notoriously hard to work and shape. Only the foremost tanners can manipulate it. But even they have a hard time, often exclaiming "cursed leather!" at the top of their lungs.
