The bronze guard defended the alliance between the followers of Guthix and the followers of Saradomin. The metal symbolized the unity of two different materials and created something stronger. While most of the guards preferred the noble sword, a few preferred the physicality of the bronze mace.
Each swing delivered powerful momentum straight into their enemy. The force broke bone, obliterated muscle, and often sent their victims reeling, allowing a second strike before the foe could recover.
