The trout is unusual in a few different ways. It's still breathing even out of water, which you could probably classify as more than just 'unusual'. But we like to stay away from hyperbole, so we'll stick with 'unusual' for now.
It also seems to be eyeballing you. Little sideways glances that could be interpreted as judgements. And when you do fail at something - burn a fish, perhaps - it tuts, loudly, like a librarian.
