There’s more than just bruising that awaits the unprepared adventurer, Ashenfall’s also home to a number of different conditions we in the biz like to refer to as status effects.
These effects, once inflicted, cause a continuing problem for a while. You could spend too much time in the Bloodblight Swamp and become poisoned, slowly losing health as time drags on.
Certain creatures and weapons may inflict you with nasty cuts that cause bleeding, leading to a large amount of damage if not dealt with quickly.
Each Status Effect is its own special little problem, and it’s a good idea to make sure you pay close attention to any that you run across.
