Today is the day I catch one of them bugs. I’m gonna lure it in with some vulture meat and then I’ll trap it with my net and force it to be my friend.
We will go on grand adventures, and maybe I’ll find other bug catchers, like me, and make our kalphites fight. Mine will win of course, she’s going to be the biggest and bestest, I’ll call her Chompy.
Dad says it’s silly to like bugs. He says a good cub should like hunting and fishing and I don’t know, climbing rocks? I stop listening after a bit. He’s all old and greying and doesn’t like adventure.
My new friend, who lives in the crystal, tells me that the bugs are awesome and tells me all about a great big hive where a really big bug lives. I’m going to go and find it and its going to be my friend.
Chompy and me will be bestest friends forever!
