Like all dragon hatchlings, the black dragons are prone to violence from the moment they break through the shell. Indeed, some of them take shards of sharpened shells and use them to stab their siblings with it. Some survive, some don’t, but those that do are stronger and deadlier for it: something their mother, Kuldra, is very pleased with.
