Raw beltfish is a tricky customer. It's a tough, almost sinewy meat, more like a whip than a food product. If you're a chef and want to torment your sous-chef, then crack a beltfish and watch them pay attention.
Equally, if you're a sous-chef and your chef is constantly whipping you with beltfish, then a beltfish makes for a handy garotte.
