You're as based as the people who, likewise, were confronted by all of those things and promptly built a giant wooden house.

Of all the things to grow, we can actually understand the barrel cactus. Native to this region, it's also full of moisture - thus the 'barrel' - which is reasonably integral to the game you are playing.
